I have been waiting since last years dead pico day for an event to pop up. I even planned to fly to philly last year but it never came through. Wish I saw this event earlier so I could go for sure. We'll see If I can go this year.

The plan is that if these meets continue with success, I could even organize them around the states and possibly outside the US with close friends that can micro manage and gather the local artists.
Artist meetups nowadays are almost exclusively tied to conventions, even when people aren't selling merch it just becomes a 3 day expensive hub for gatherings. People I know couldn't give two shits about the cons themselves but they have to find some excuse to travel and see friends
